The six-digit LCD screen presents test results and the unit of measurement, and backlighting improves contrast in low-light conditions and helps eliminate light reflections. The device stores maximum and minimum test result values for ease of data recall, and automatically shuts off after two minutes of inactivity to help preserve battery life.
